The Queen Mary 2, known for her iconic transatlantic crossings between New York and Southampton, reached the city on March 27 following a six-day journey from Hong Kong and Vietnam.

During her overnight stay, more than 900 guests booked on the full voyage were treated to a gala evening at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

The event was held in the Roselle–Simpor Ballroom and featured a special world voyage dining celebration in a setting designed to capture the spirit and grandeur of ocean travel

From Singapore, Queen Mary 2, Cunard’s flagship, will begin a 57-night journey to Southampton.

Her next ports include Port Klang in Malaysia and Port Louis in Mauritius, before reaching Durban and Cape Town in South Africa.

After an overnight stay in Cape Town, the liner will depart on April 12 for Walvis Bay, Dakar, and Tenerife, before arriving in Southampton on April 30.

She will then resume her regular transatlantic crossings to New York for the remainder of the year.

Katie McAlister, president of Cunard, said: “Queen Mary 2’s 2026 World Voyage continues to deliver extraordinary experiences for our guests.

“From historic milestones, such as her first transit through the new Panama Canal locks, to unforgettable moments like the World Voyage Gala in Singapore, every journey perfectly combines Cunard’s rich maritime heritage with modern luxury, offering our guests the opportunity to explore the world in a way only Cunard can provide.”

Queen Mary 2 is the world’s only true ocean liner and a symbol of Cunard’s maritime legacy.

Her 2026 world voyage will include visits to more than 30 ports across the Americas, Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe.

The voyage has already marked several milestones.

On January 24, Queen Mary 2 completed her first transit through the Panama Canal, passing under the Bridge of the Americas the following day.

She also returned to Los Angeles for the first time in 17 years and reunited with her namesake vessel, RMS Queen Mary, a retired ocean liner.
