Following his latest goal for England, Arsenal fans have taken to social media to hail the youngster and are excited by his talent.
“Max Dowman runs with the ball on a string. The pace, the power, the control, and the ability to strike cleanly whilst running at full speed make for a combination of skills that rarely come along. He’s done this at every age group for Arsenal and England; he’s run in ready.”“Max Dowman is not real. Carrying the ball through the entire length of the pitch and scoring like that is insane. Supremely talented.”“People talk about his ball striking being an area of improvement, which is fair, but to run at this level of speed and distance, then have the composure to slot it. That’s even more special.”“Dowman is Messi-level talent. We should start playing him more. Why didn’t we give him a chance in the Cup final when we needed a goal?”“A superb performance with a fantastic solo goal, while playing two years above his age group. An incredible talent.”
The North London club are doing the right thing but not giving him too much too soon, but the teenager looks ready to make the jump to first-team football.
