Nobody seems to have said anything about Guehi, o'reilly and Bernardo Silva all not being selected for their country when normally they would be, you can add that to stones and Haaland pulling out .

Hello all, does anyone know if this Man City "60 points deduction" has any legs and know more about it ?
I will be livid if we sell Nwaneri or MLS rather than the five players in our squad who would all reach decent fees and have been at this club for a fair period in time and a few of them Ben White excluded who have consistently been found wanting over a sustained period. While I understand because of squad size wages to revenue cap etc and other rules coming into play this summer I know there will be sales first before signings, but I only think this because of the fact our squad is already at the point of having to leave so called first team players out the match day squad so it’s obvious we will be looking to sell players.
But I do think there has been contradictions in reporting with regards to finances at Arsenal I’m not saying we will spend 269 million this summer but we have never done that in back to back summers in our history so I don’t see that changing now. But I do think if we wanted to spend serious money then we could.
Martinelli Trossard Norgarrd Kepa Jesus Ben White are all players who not only combined would easily generate well over 140 million in sales alone besides what a difference it would make to our wage bill. All of these players have been at the club apart from Kepa and Norgarrd for a fair while and it’s natural for players to not stay behond a five or six year period in football these days anyway. I don’t think 30 million for Jesus is unrealistic or 15 million for Trossard 10 for Norgarrd, 8 million for Kepa, 45 million for Martinelli 40 million for Ben White. None of those figures are inflated what do ever or said with an Arsenal hat on, and let’s have it right we would be paying more for these players if we were looking to buy these players this summer from other clubs and we would pay it aswell. But my whole point is we have sellable assets who would fetch large money who probably wouldn’t mind leaving we would be ok to sell as fans and some would be glad to see the back of way before young stars who have not been given the luxury of playing four seasons and haven’t been allowed to consistently when it mattered come up short. My question is this unless they are pushing for a move why aren’t they given that same luxury why would we waste so much time and energy on someone who isn’t English or grown up playing in England but are quite happy to probably hold on to foreign players who have consistently not delivered over long periods and haven’t not improved very little since they arrived apart from Ben White ? So I would be livid at f we sell Nwaneri or MLS before any of the players I’ve mentioned and I don’t want to hear but we need to raise funds. I’ve just proved by selling players at not even market value we can generate 150 million and I know we won’t have 265 in the kitty we had last summer but add the sales money to what we do have which I think is about 150 that gives us about the same as we spent last summer. I don’t think we will spend that much but don’t be lied too about we don’t have the capacity to spend money or generate funds without selling top class youth players that don’t grow on trees. Daily rant over now please enjoy your day 😂

Hey Tom!
I think the PL will give different punishments for a) Financial charges and b)! Obstruction
I think the financial charges will lead to points reductions for past years, say 5 or 10 points per season, which covers the benefit they gained from the player deals they did.
For the obstruction it's not something where they gained in matches, so I see that as a punishment for this season, potentially the 60 points deducted.
I think the PL are waiting until the season finishes before announcing their decisions, so as not to interfere with the title race.
If we win the PL and a decision is announced after the final match that deducts points from City, there is no asterisk against our title because we won it regardless of their points deduction.
