Cold Banana in Poole Road was founded by Bournemouth University alumni Luke Fribbens in 2015 and is now in the running for the Best Agency Team (Small) category for this years awards ceremony.
The National Digital Awards celebrate organisations and individuals driving progress across the UK digital sector.

On its website, the awards organiser said its purpose is to honour “agencies, creators, innovators and digital leaders shaping the future of the UK digital economy.”
Cold banana said being shortlisted for this award is a recognition of its collaborative culture, support for emerging digital talent and impact across enterprise digital platforms.

Cold Banana said it delivers enterprise web development and digital solutions to organisations internationally from its offices based in Bournemouth and Dubai.
In 2025, the agency moved its head office to Westbourne to support team efficiency with large meeting rooms and breakout spaces.
Cold Banana also grew its industry credentials through continued Umbraco Gold Partner status, recognition as a Gold Umbraco Contributing Partner for 2025, and partnerships with Sitecore, Optimizely and Shopify.

The agency said international collaboration remains central to its success, with regular travel to Dubai for leadership alignment and shared project development.
The firm also runs a structured placement programme with Bournemouth University, giving students hands-on experience in front-end and back-end web development, accessibility, security and performance over a 12-month period.
Cold Banana’s shortlisting puts it among a select group of agencies recognised for outstanding collaboration, innovation and delivery.
Public voting for the awards is now open until Sunday, April 12, 2026, via the National Digital Awards website.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, May 22 at the Birmingham Conferences and Events Centre.
