Tariq Halal, the UK’s leading halal butcher and meat retailer, will launch its latest store in Southampton on Thursday, April 9, with a full range of premium halal meats.
The grand opening will begin at 10am and feature live tastings in partnership with Taj Foods, Freez, and Mogu Mogu, as well as exclusive giveaways.
Tariq Sheikh, chairman of Tariq Halal, said: “Southampton has one of the most vibrant and diverse communities in the South of England, and for too long, families here have had to travel far or compromise on quality when it comes to halal meat.
“We are not just opening a store — we are putting down roots in a city that deserves the very best, and we intend to be here for the long term.”

The company has already seen success in other UK cities, including Manchester and Glasgow.
The Southampton shop will bring their full range of premium halal meats to the South of England for the first time.
