Newcastle United know that Sandro Tonali could be open to leaving the club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Even a few months out from the summer transfer window actually opening, Tonali has been strongly linked with a move away from Newcastle United.
I know it sounds like sour grapes, but I’d take the money and run 😡

All of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in Tonali, who cast doubt on his own long-term future at Newcastle back in November.
According to Romano, those behind the scenes at St James’ Park are aware that the midfielder might see his future elsewhere.
Newcastle know Sandro Tonali might be tempted to leave
Speaking on a video posted on YouTube, Romano said: “Newcastle expect movement around Tonali this summer and Newcastle know that the player could be open to making a new experience.”
Romano also adds that Manchester United have made initial contact with the Italy star’s camp.
“Some contact already took place between Manchester United and Sandro Tonali’s camp.”
It would frankly be quite the surprise if Newcastle didn’t have some sort of inkling that the former AC Milan midfielder might be tempted to leave.
Back in November, he quite literally said: “If you have an option for your life for another team, you need to think about everything in football.”
Geordie Boot Boys have argued that Tonali’s time at Newcastle seems to be drawing to a close.
Was selling Isak in the manner they did where the wheels started to come off for PIF at Newcastle?

Still, things do not have to play out quite like they did with Alexander Isak. Nothing needs to become that toxic.
Manchester United want to sign Tonali and for that they will likely have to pay a huge price.
Newcastle will surely have learned lessons from the Isak saga and it’s very hard to imagine they’ll consistently state they are willing to keep a player against their will once again.

If Tonali really wants to go, accepting that fate seems really rather wise indeed.
Newcastle will go on without him. As good as he was last season, he’s not been the same player this time around.
