See we should not play our main squad for the League game, we should rest Yamal and Pedri. While Rapha is going to be out anyway. As the league game is an away game, and the Metropolitano pitch is infamous for its slipping issues we have to protect the main squad from any other injury before the UCL games. Also we have quite a few good replacements for the league game.
In case if we lose, it will just make the next league El Clasico sort of league decider for us.

The Champions League games, especially the home one. The league game is likely the game with the lowest return on investment. Flick’s goal for that game should be to compete, but ensuring that the team will be as strong as possible for the knockout CL round. Which is what Atlético will do.
