Will our MP in Poole speak out on the removal of yet more benches serving Poole Bus Station?

According to the Land Registry records both BCP Council and the bus company own Poole Bus Station, with parts of it rented out by BCP Council to the Dolphin Centre.

All of these organisations are meant to ensure that their customers and in BCP’s case, everyone in the BCP area, get equal access to services.

The bus services are part sponsored by government grants decided on by BCP Council.

Money comes from the public in this way and by buying tickets.

Driving away the elderly, disabled, pregnant, those with small children and/or experiencing maternity and anyone else who cannot stand for long periods whilst waiting for a bus cannot be excused.

Access to buses is a right everyone should enjoy, not just those who don’t need a bench to sit on at the bus station.

We don’t punish all drivers when some are caught speeding by closing the road.

We don’t punish everyone shopping in Sainsbury’s when someone is caught shoplifting by closing the shop.

We don’t punish all the children in a school when one is caught cheating even the option of a card payment for them, and taking away yet more benches.

Come on Neil Duncan-Jordan, head above the parapet time please.

Speak up for everyone who has ever been pregnant, including your own mother and the mother of your children, and call for all the bus station benches to be reinstated and the toilets reopened.

Let’s show the manosphere that lording it over women, the elderly, the disabled and the very young will not be tolerated in Poole. #whatwomenwant is a bench and toilets at bus stations, not for men to be pumped up on steroids and driving something that gives them a bad back.
