Mrs Blackley said: “In the past, I have taken much smaller groups, up to eight, but this time I couldn’t choose some and leave the others, so I decided to take them all.
“I needed to provide them with the opportunity to develop their enthusiasm for learning and science.”
Pupil Anna said: “It was a brilliant day. I loved it.”
The group took part in a range of interactive activities, including making slime, using prosthetics to lift objects, making crystals, and experimenting with 3D-printed circuits.
They also enjoyed a lively science show about gases.
