Ndoye scored on the night and said afterwards: “It’s been a while since I scored my first goal against Germany, at Euro 2024. Being able to be decisive against a team like that is always a pleasure.

“When I have the opportunity to play, I always give it my all.

“I don’t get many minutes at my club , but today (two days ago) I showed I have some quality. I feel great with Switzerland and I want to enjoy these moment.”
