Emergency services were called to an incident on March 29, Sunday at 10.35am.
Dorset Police attended the incident of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the Upton Bypass.
Due to the accident, A350 Blandford Road North Westbound was blocked with queueing traffic due to accident from A3049 (Poole) to A35 (Upton).
Road closure was put in place between Holes Bay and the Upton Country Park turn off.
Officers were in attendance alongside ambulance service.
Dorset Police confirmed that the pedestrian was being taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson said: “We received a report at 10.35am on Sunday 29 March 2026 of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on the Upton Bypass.
“The pedestrian is being taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
