Dorset Police neighbourhood officers were deployed to the area on March 28 following information from a local school that pupils were planning to meet and consume alcohol.
PC Lewis, PC Luca, PC Anna and PS Anthony were on patrol in Southbourne, providing reassurance to the community and dealing with reports of anti-social behaviour.
Dorset Police confirmed while the majority of those gathered engaged positively with officers, a small number of youths were found in possession of alcohol.

The alcohol was seized and dispersal notices were issued to prevent further issues.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said officers are concerned such gatherings can quickly escalate.
They said: “We are concerned that large gatherings involving alcohol can quickly escalate into anti-social behaviour or more serious criminal activity—not just underage drinking.
“We are asking parents and guardians this weekend: do you know where your children are?”
