  1. Such an english thing to have a mindset where physicality dominates your thinking in recruitment. Football is played with your feet and brain. The English forget that it's an art.

  2. And who's dynamic? The kid who can't start over Milner? We don't need an engine if we have possession-based football… Rodri ain't no engine.. Sergio was no dynamic pacy engine I'm sure you'll know better than me. Carrick himself wasn't dynamic.. so I don't get these weird concerns against Tonali who will really help us dictate the game and give freedom to mainoo n Wharton to exploit n press up

  3. You're wrong on this one.. Baleba has the potential of something unbelievable I get it but it doesn't change the fact that he's not playing 90 mins and now he can't even start over Milner. Even if we ignore all these things, the real problem is still what it was last summer. He has a ridiculous price tag. He's a potential so his price should be 50-55m at the top. Wharton has won a trophy with Palace and you can see what a player like Garner is doing for Everton.. compared all that to Baleba's Last season and he's nowhere near 60m, let alone 70-80-100-bla bla bla…

  4. The game against LFC tells you everything you're talking about in this Short. A guy like Milner… A 40-year-old… Nothing dynamic… Nothing engine… Nothing pace…. All raw experience and vision and good on the ball and monitoring opponents and pressing when needed… Very basic things, but basics can bench baleba…. He knew United fans would be watching that game..

So I'm not concerned about Tonali not being super fast or pacey… But he's definitely dynamic and has a ton of UCL experience.

  5. Who your player then @rioferinandpresents? 🤷‍♂️ Sandro would be a great pick. Maybe some other low key player to make it work as a two? 🤔🤷‍♂️.

  6. I’ve got to disagree with you Rio I personally thing tonali has got great qualities for our midfield he’s got legs yes he’s not lightning quick but to be honest you think about all the best midfield players over the years none have been lightning quick it’s all about the brain

  7. Oh gosh I think they sent him a check to push baleba this whole “legs narrative” been subtly stuff they’ve used to describe baleba. Baleba and 3 months searching for someone else seems to be the summer ahead

  8. Its alright having legs but they have to able to play..I keep seeing baleba WHY!! Yes he can run but he's been fkin awful..Anderson has to be top.of the list

  9. Rio Stop 😂To say Tonali and Bruno number 2 doesnt have legs is diabolical We know you like your fellow English players but that’s embarrassing comment. If we were to get those 2 we’ve Hit the Jackpot.
