Jonah Kusi-Asare admits the move to Fulham hasn’t gone to plan.
On a season-long loan from Bayern Munich, the teenage striker has struggled to force his way into Fulham manager Marco Silva’s plans.

“We have some experienced strikers who have been in the Premier League for many years, so it is difficult to come in and take a place. But he sees that I am developing and when there is something I am missing, he tells me. I just try to work on it and I know that playing time will come with time,” he told Fotbollskanalen.
Fulham have an option to buy Kusi-Asare after the season. It remains to be seen how that will play out.
“I know they can buy me, but I haven’t thought much about it. I like it over there, it’s a good environment for me but it’s ultimately up to the club,” he says.
Furthermore, Kusi-Asare is open to a change to a lower level team to increase the opportunities for playing time.
“Maybe it would have been good for my career to go down a step, so I can take a starting spot. But it depends on what the clubs have planned for me. We’ll see what the future holds,” he adds.
