In the last six games we have seen two wins, two draws and two defeats. A special of those was the 5-1 home win vs. Arsenal. A very strong result against a top quality opponent. Leicester also picked up all three from the game vs. Norwich.

Leicester U21 are eight in the table as the season looks one that has gone as planned. Many teenagers are competing for a place in this set up. We are happy to see how performances are progressing. A number of great results vs. top quality opponents.

In the game vs. Arsenal you had four different goalscorers. Amani Richards, Riley Carr, Logan Briggs 2 and Kirsten Otchere scoring the goals for Leicester.

With players such as Tom Wilson-Brown, Jayden Joseph, Henry Cartwright, Will Alves, Sammy Braybrooke, Nathan Opoku and Chris Popov out on loan, we are impressed with the younger alternatives, given a chance to shine at this level. There are without doubt a lot to build on as the development just continues as it should.

The U21 will go up to Leeds on the 13th of April. This is the final league game of the season.

The U18 have four games left of the season, playing next away to West Brom on the 11th of March. Their other fixtures are against Norwich, Southampton and Arsenal.

A number of Leicester City’s academy and development players are currently on international duty. Lorentz Hutchinson in company with Jeremy Monga and Louis Page, representing England U19. Ryan Donnelly is with N Ireland U21. Hugo de Lisle in the England U17 squad.
