Kelsey Clark, branch manager at Skipton Building Society in Bournemouth, said: “We’re really excited to reopen our doors and welcome the community back into our newly refurbished branch.

“This investment demonstrates Skipton’s ongoing commitment to providing face-to-face financial support and ensuring our customers have a warm, modern space to visit for help with their financial goals.”

The updated branch includes modernised transaction counters, upgraded private consultation areas, and a brighter, more accessible environment.

Sustainability was also a focus, with the refurbishment including LED lighting, improved insulation, and modern heating systems to reduce environmental impact and improve comfort.

The Mayor of Bournemouth, Councillor Jackie Edwards, led a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the reopening on March 24.

Visitors were invited to explore the branch and enjoyed refreshments including cakes and sandwiches.

The society encourages Bournemouth residents to visit the revitalised branch and take advantage of the new facilities.
