Newcastle United star Tino Livramento can cash in on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s England agony and nab his place at the World Cup.
The Toon right-back looks like the clear choice at right-back for England ahead of the summer trip to the US for games against Croatia, Ghana and Panama in the group stages. Both Ben White and Djed Spence can also operate in the position but Tuchel has arguably made up his mind.
Chelsea ace Reece James is another star who still has to come back from injury. Tuchel admits he is being potentially “unfair” to the Real Madrid man and ex-Liverpool star, but that could work in Livramento’s favour.
It could also increase interest from interested clubs like Man City who have tracked the 23-year-old full-back for the last two or three windows.

Tuchel said: “It’s just a choice. A sportive choice. Maybe a hard choice. And maybe to a degree unfair.
“The choice was for White because I saw him play in the [Carabao Cup] final, in the Champions League match before and he was back to his old self. It was a chance to meet him in person.
“I know what Trent can give us so the choice was for Ben and Tino Livramento, to stick with the guys who had a good camp with us in September, November, December. Djed Spence as well.
“I know it creates noise when you leave a player like Trent out. We had a call, I tried to explain the situation. He just has to accept it.”
Livranmento put in a solid and sturdy performance against Uruguay last night with the Newcastle ace playing the full 90 minutes at Wembley.
