Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix is determined to make the most of his first call-up to the France squad this week.
Lacroix insists he’s not in the US to make up the numbers and is targeting a place in the World Cup squad this summer.

After making his debut against France, he said, “The World Cup, in the United States, of course it’s a dream. I played my first match on Thursday, in front of this American crowd and in this type of stadium.
“It’s a truly amazing atmosphere. These are the kinds of competitions you really want to play in. I even think the World Cup might be the most watched and followed competition in all of sports.
“I want to be part of this kind of competition.”
