Anthony Gordon is one of many wingers who have been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
Mikel Arteta has top-class players across his side, but the left-wing position is a clear area of weakness. That is why a new signing is expected in the summer, and Gordon is said to be on Arsenal’s list.
Now, in a video on DAZN, Gordon was asked to pick between Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer and the Gunners’ own Bukayo Saka.
In what was a huge surprise, Gordon chose the Arsenal number seven, and Gooners feel it is because he is pushing for a move to the Emirates.

Every Arsenal fan loves Saka, but nobody would pick the winger over Shearer, who is still the Premier League’s highest-ever goalscorer.
The fact that Anthony Gordon chose the Gunners’ star over his own club’s biggest legend has convinced Arsenal supporters that he wants a move to North London.
One fan tweeted: “He’s pushing for this move so bad, but I don’t want him near this club!”

Andrea Berta is exploring multiple different options as he looks to strengthen Arsenal’s left wing.
The Gunners need someone who is better than both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, and such a player is not easy to find.
On paper, Gordon is up there with the top left-wingers in the Premier League, so it is no real surprise that the North Londoners have had a look at him.

However, Arsenal fans have demanded that Berta be sacked if he signs Gordon, because they think he is not good enough.
When Arteta was trying to sign Aaron Ramsdale, Kai Havertz and Noni Madueke, the same kind of noise was made by the supporters.
Arsenal signed all three players, so we won’t be surprised at all if Gordon is brought in too.
