    **Casemiro**:

    >“I am still enjoying it a lot [in Manchester]. **I believe the announcement is now done. It is huge, the affection that the fans have shown towards me.**

    >**But I do really believe the decision is made and done.** I am enjoying myself right now**. I believe it will be some difficult (emotional) moments, these (final) games at Manchester United.**

On Carrick + his objective till the end of season:

    >“Above all, Michael is a specialist in my position on the field, he was a truly great player,” Casemiro added. “That makes everything much easier and he is always talking to us.

    >**“I feel like we are in a good dynamic right now in Manchester and my objective now is to get the club back into the Champions League.”**

  2. If it’s something he and not the club has decided I think it’s probably for the best. He will know where his body is at and it’s much better going out as a cult hero who has had a full redemption than waiting a year too long.

Have they asked him about dropping his pants, bending over, and slowly reversing into me?

  4. Casemiro leaving is the best for everyone involved. He can leave by being on top with helping us securing Champions League football next season and being a key player this season. The club on other hand can improve the midfield in the summer and they don’t need to pay Casemiros’s ridiculous wage anymore

The good form would just make ending on a high all the more tempting. It’s a great way to go out and we’ll all talk about how he had a great time here.

Carra’s “leave the football before it leaves you” was ill times but I think he generally has a point.

As good as he’s been this season, he has benefitted from our lack of games and I fear he might be exposed with two games every week next season. We’re going to need a complete overhaul to our midfield anyway and keeping Casemiro only delays one of the three signings we need by a year.

I love the guy and he’ll be hard to replace, but all in all it is probably the right time for all parties.

  7. Even though he has been so good this season, at 34 it is probably time. With players in their mid 30 it’s less that the roof starts to leak and more that one day it just collapses. Look at the way Salah went from having the type of individual season that single handedly won a bang average liverpool team a league title, to coming back after the summer less useful than Harvey Barnes.

To be clear Casemiro isn’t thinking about it because the club have given him no reason to.

  9. It feels bittersweet, much like it did with McTominay. Yes, it’s a good decision, we need the money to free up for incoming transfers. Still a bit sad.

Best of luck to Casemiro for the final games, at least I had the chance to watch his goals live!

He deserves to decide on his future. Let him help United and then leave United as a favorite.
