We had it all last week – from Gian van Veen having to miss out with kidney stones to two absolute belting 6-5 thrillers and two maximum 170 checkouts that had darts fans dancing in Dublin.
Luke Littler’s 6-5 win over Michael van Gerwen was arguably the best match of the tournament so far – with both men reeling in the Big Fish with 170 checkouts each.
MVG should have really put that one to bed as he threw some spectacular arrows.
But talk about letting The Nuke off the hook, Gerwyn Price somehow let a 5-0 lead slip through his grasp to lose a night he’d been totally dominant in – surrendering just one leg all night up until the point he had a 5-0 lead throwing for the match.
