Dorset Police were called to an incident shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, March 25.
There were reports of a collision involving a car and bicycle on Lower Golf Links Road.
Officers attended with the ambulance service.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with incident.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 5.06pm on Wednesday 25 March 2026 to a report of a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Lower Golf Links Road in Poole.
“Officers attended with the ambulance service.
“The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
“Road reopened at around 6.55pm.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 16:58hrs on Wednesday 25 March to a road traffic collision in Poole.
“We sent one double-crewed land ambulance to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
