Barcelona won 1-0 against Rayo Vallecano thanks to Ronald Araujo’s header from a João Cancelo corner.
I thought Cancelo had a really solid game on the left side. He was strong defensively, won several duels and delivered the assist for the winning goal. He seems to be gaining confidence and rhythm lately.
Personally, I’m starting to think he could be an interesting option for Barcelona if they can keep him permanently. He brings a different dynamic on the flank.
What do you guys think? Is Cancelo worth keeping long-term or does he still need more consistency?
