Farage had a private tour of Ipswich Town’s ground while he was in the county for his Suffolk Rally held at Trinity Park on Monday evening.
While on the tour, he posed for pictures in the dressing room and media room, held up a shirt with Farage 10 on the back, and even posted a video wishing Ipswich good luck for the rest of the season.

Ipswich Star and EADT readers have been divided over this latest stunt by the divisive politician, with one saying: “Bought a shirt recently, luckily it still has the tags on so I’ll be returning it tomorrow, shameful for the club I have supported all my life to say nothing about this.”
Another joked: “Think the club have misunderstood the fans when we have said we need to strengthen the right wing options.”
But some have defended the stunt, saying: “Anyone would think ITFC had let the leader of Hamas visit the ground judging by some of the pearl-clutching comments.”
Another said it was an “overreaction” to a harmless publicity stunt.

Ipswich Town Football Club, who has not shared any of the posts, opted not to comment about the visit when contacted.
The EADT and Ipswich Star understands that Reform didn’t use the party or Farage’s name when initially booking the private tour online and that the printed shirt was purchased rather than gifted.
Ipswich’s Labour MP, Jack Abbott, recently filmed a video outside Portman Road to share the news that Ipswich was among nine finalists for the UK City of Culture 2029, writing: ‘Fingers crossed ITFC will get promoted this summer too!’
Ipswich’s former Tory MP, Tom Hunt, regularly attended Portman Road and congratulated the club’s promotion to the Premier League at the House of Commons in 2024.
