A man from Brighton faces court charged with raping a girl several times and a number of other child sex offences, Sussex Police said today (Wednesday 25 March).
Benjamin Grant, 28, of Ridge Road, Falmer, is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The force said: “Police in Sussex have charged a man with 15 sexual offences against a child.
“Benjamin Grant, 28, of Ridge Road, in Falmer, has been charged with nine counts of rape and six counts of assault by penetration involving a girl who was known to him.
“The allegations relate to a period between 2009 and 2018.
“The victim, who is now an adult, is being supported by specialist officers.
“Grant will appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 26 March.”
