Organised by McCarthy Stone communities across the UK, the funds will support the McCarthy Stone Foundation and its work to improve the health and wellbeing of older people, tackle loneliness, and build stronger communities.
Events took place in locations including Bournemouth, Southend-on-Sea, Hunstanton, and Llandudno.
In Bournemouth, dippers enjoyed sunshine and live music while participants in Hunstanton and Llandudno took to the water in costumes such as lobsters, penguins, and bumblebees.

A spokesperson for the McCarthy Stone said: “We are incredibly proud to see our communities come together across the country for this year’s Chilly Sea Dip events.
“From colleagues to homeowners and supporters, the sense of energy, connection and shared purpose has been truly inspiring.”
A hot drink and homemade cakes awaited the brave dippers as they warmed up on the shore.
In Southend, even those abroad got involved, organising their own sea dip to support the fundraiser.
So far, the dips have raised just over £9,000 in direct donations, rising to more than £21,000 once match funding and Gift Aid are included.
McCarthy Stone Foundation has extended its thanks to organisers, volunteers, bakers, and supporters.
Donations are still being accepted at justgiving.com/campaign/chillydips2026.
