A diversion will be in place via Higher Blandford Road and Fairview Crescent in both directions.
Full emergency services access will be maintained, and access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
It adds that restrictions under the order could remain in effect for up to 18 months, with the potential for further extensions if approved by the Secretary of State.
The planned works involve trial hole works by Wessex Water and further details are available on the One Network website.
