A woman was touched inappropriately while out in a Leicester city centre bar.

Leicestershire Police said that the incident occurred inside a premises in Market Street at around 11pm on Saturday, February 21.

The force said that a man pressed himself up against a woman in her 40s. She confronted the man, who then left the bar.

Officers have now released an image of a man in connection with the report relating to inappropriate touching.

From enquiries carried out to date, police said that the man pictured is believed to have information which will assist them with their investigation.

DC Lauren Thacker said: “I’m appealing for anyone who recognises him and knows who he is – or that person – to get in touch.”
