TradePod, based on the Millstream Trading Estate in Ringwood, describes itself as the UK’s first workspace dedicated to supporting trades professionals.
It caters to builders, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, contractors and other tradespeople by offering a space to work, meet clients and run their businesses.

Founder Anthony Tilley said: “When we launched TradePod, our vision was to provide more than just desks and offices – we wanted a create a community where tradespeople could run their businesses professionally, collaborate with others, and access practical support that helps them succeed.
“This first year has shown just how valuable that has been for local tradespeople and small business owners.”
TradePod was developed to address the lack of professional workspaces tailored to the needs of the trades sector.
Members can manage quotes, invoicing, and project planning in dedicated office areas, while also making use of secure tool storage, fully equipped meeting rooms, and workshop facilities.
The facility also offers business support services, including marketing, bookkeeping, administrative assistance, and virtual office amenities.
TradePod has attracted members from across the region, including Fordingbridge, Ferndown, Verwood, Wimborne, Christchurch, and beyond.
A large part of the hub’s appeal is its community focus, fostering collaboration and referrals among members.
Over the past year, TradePod has established a network of strategic partners, offering members exclusive discounts, specialist support, and professional services.
These include help with accounting, insurance, legal advice, tools, equipment, and business software.
Mr Tilley said: “By collaborating with trusted industry providers, we’re helping members access the resources they need to grow their operations more efficiently and cost-effectively, while building a supportive ecosystem that goes beyond just workspace.”
The centre offers a range of flexible membership options, from mailing addresses and virtual office services to full access to workshops, offices, and all community benefits.
With ongoing events, support services, and plans for further locations across the south, TradePod is aiming to build on its first year of success.
