The international break has arrived at a slightly awkward time for Liverpool, with Arne Slot already dealing with a lengthy injury list at Kirkby.

Nine players have been forced to stay behind: Alisson, Conor Bradley, Wataru Endo, Mohamed Salah, Giovanni Leoni, Jayden Danns, Stefan Bajcetic, Alexander Isak and Federico Chiesa. That’s a long list that only adds to the frustration after a demanding stretch of games.

Chiesa will miss a World Cup play-off which is sure to sting.

Just how bad do you want Arne Slot gone? 😬

But while those absentees recover, plenty of Reds are still involved for their countries over the next week.

From senior friendlies to youth qualifiers, Liverpool remain well represented across Europe and beyond — and here is a quick look at when each of the players is due to be in action.

Liverpool first-team players on duty

Liverpool still have a strong senior contingent away. Giorgi Mamardashvili is with Georgia for games against Israel on March 26 and Lithuania on March 29.

Virgil van Dijk, Jeremie Frimpong, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo are all with the Netherlands, who face Norway on March 27 and Ecuador on March 31.

Ibrahima Konate joins Hugo Ekitike in the France squad for fixtures against Brazil on March 26 and Colombia on March 29, while Florian Wirtz’s Germany take on Switzerland on March 27 and Ivory Coast on March 30.

Andy Robertson’s Scotland have friendlies against Japan on March 28 and Ivory Coast on March 31.

Milos Kerkez and Dominik Szoboszlai are both away with Hungary, who meet Slovenia on March 28 and Greece on March 31.

Alexis Mac Allister is set for Argentina duty too, with the world champions facing Mauritania on March 27, though their planned March 31 match with Qatar has been postponed.

Which Liverpool player would you most like to see lift the World Cup this summer?

And which one has the best chance…

At youth level, Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha are with England Under-19s for a busy run of European qualifiers, facing Bulgaria on March 25, Spain on March 28 and Croatia on March 31.

Liverpool’s injury list may be long, but there is still plenty of red interest across this international break.
