March operated very wide on the right as a half-time substitute.
It was the latest step of his return to full match fitness after two lengthy absences resulting from a knee injury suffered at Manchester City two-and-a-half years ago.
He was an unused substitute in the senior fixture against Liverpool on Saturday ahead of a three-week gap between fixtures.
March then took the chance to stretch his legs with Shannon Ruth’s under-21s.
He warmed up on an adjoining pitch during the first half and went on as a half-time substitute with his side leading through a Nehemiah Oriola strike.
Playing tight to the right touchline, his first touch was a header and his first contribution of note, was a superb pass played on the spin which sent Charlie Tasker galloping into the penalty area.
Tasker’s low cross led to Oriola firing home his second goal of the game.
March late delivered a pinpoint free-kick from the left which should have led to a goal and was generally sharp, lively and tidy in possession.
He gave the ball away 33 minutes into the half but chased back and up deflecting the cross which followed into the hands of Steven Hall.
Nti added the third Albion goal on 86 minutes from Harry Mills’ cutback.
March got to the byline and produced the cut-back from which Joe Belmont then scored after Silby’s effort was blocked.
Silsby ran clear almost from the restart to add the fifth.
Harry Howell played the first hour before heading off for England under-18s duty.
Howell, usually seen out wide, played in a central No.10 or attacking midfield role.
He saw a lot of the ball and his driving run at the defence, followed by a well-timed pass, led to Oriola making the 42nd-minute breakthrough.
Oriola sent a low shot across Everton goalkeeper Douglas Lukjanciks, who had produced three fine saves earlier in the half.
Lukjanciks, an England youth international who was born in Latvia but raised in Southport, parried a header from Tyler Silsby after Howell had twisted and turned and chipped to the far post.
He also denied Ben Barclay and Oriola again in quick succession.
Silsby hit the post and Everton centre-forward Ceiran Loney went just as close very early on.
Albion: Hall; Tasker, Barclay, Simmonds, Keogh; Robertson (March 46), Mackley (Middleton 78); Silsby, Howell (Belmont 60), Oriola (Mills 85); Nti.
