UNBEATEN RUN
David Wright’s side have had a brilliant 2026 so far, with the Tractor Girls unbeaten in their last five league games, which has seen them move off the bottom of the table.
They registered their third league win of the season after beating relegation rivals Durham at home last weekend.

STATE OF PLAY
It’s a very tight relegation battle with Town currently sitting 11th in the table, with 14 points, alongside two other teams, including bottom of the table Portsmouth and Durham, who sit above the Blues on goal difference.
Town have two games on hand over Pompey, while a game on hand over Durham, so the Tractor Girls have it in their hands to battle for survival.
THE OPPOSITION
Carly Davies’ are currently sitting eighth in the table, six points clear of the Blues, having got promoted alongside Town last season after winning the Northern Premier Division title.
They go into this game without a win in their last four games, losing 1-0 at Crystal Palace last time out. Forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah is their top goal scorer with five goals.

LAST TIME OUT
The two sides faced off in the second game of the campaign, with the Blues losing 1-0 in their first home game at Colchester’s Jobserve Community Stadium in September.
Nahikari Garcia scored the only goal of the game to secure all three points for the Reds in the first competitive fixture between the two clubs.

Following this clash, the Blues will host Southampton in the first ever WSL 2 game at historic stadium.
The club has revealed that more than 5,000 tickets have been sold so far. The last two games at the Blues’ home as attracted crowds of more than 10,000 people, with hopes of the club beating that number again this year.
