WHO is starting a game for Celtic Football Club in the year of 2026

  2. I genuinely am fearful of another league cup situation with Iheanacho. If he plays valuable minutes I reckon he scores, however.

  3. Did people just forget he was on the bench last week?

Cvancara’s probably picked up an injury, which is annoying.

  4. Iheanacho is our best striker so I just pray he’s actually fit.

Putting McGregor straight back in seems a massive risk to me, especially with the international break coming up I would have preferred he was kept until after to be sure he’s 100% but who am I to doubt the medical department of Celtic football club, clearly know what they are doing

If we can get half a dozen games out of Iheanacho i think he can make a difference.

I’m assuming Araujo is still injured. Need him or AJ ready after the international break.

  7. I’m really pleased Tounetki isn’t starting – miles better option off the bench and often an empty shirt when he starts games

i love a game of lineup whiplash

nacho in from nowhere to start having played a whole 60 minutes total in 2026. bernardo not even on the bench

  9. When was the last time Celtic named an unchanged line up, we seem to be drawing names from a tombola

Hmm, I am confused by the selections, but I don’t hate them. Iheanacho can score while he is on the pitch, even if that will probably be 30 minutes. Scales and Arthur have the left foot/right foot benefit. Maeda can run like a headless chicken with the shooting ability of that guy in the film Misery who had his ankles broken with a sledgehammer.

One thing about Martin Oneill is he certainly knows how to use the squad and rotation, a must to keep players on their toes for competition
