Marc Mould, 44, of Kendal Avenue, Southampton, admitted to 32 thefts committed between April and November 2025, along with failing to surrender to bail.

Mould stole items ranging from fans at Screwfix, chocolate and sweets from One Stop, and beer, groceries and household goods from Asda, Aldi, Premier, Tesco and Co‑op, often targeting the same shops repeatedly.

These were shops in Southampton and one in Totton.

His highest value theft was of £591.28 of batteries from an Aldi in June.

Southampton Magistrates’ Court imposed a six‑month prison sentence suspended for 18 months and ordered him to complete 25 rehabilitation days.

Mould was also handed a three‑year Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from entering any Asda, Asda Express, Aldi, Screwfix, One Stop or Premier Store in Hampshire.

He must leave any shop immediately if asked by staff and cannot return the same day. He must also place items in a basket or trolley until purchased.
