Christian Walton
Nothing he could have done about Millwall’s goal. Made a couple of good saves to prevent the Lions from winning it. 7
Darnell Furlong
Shrugged off the ball far too easily for Millwall’s equaliser. Wasn’t one of his strongest showings in a Town shirt. 5
Dara O’Shea
A tale of two halves, like Ipswich’s performance. Strong in the first, dictating play well, but felt like he lost his way a bit after the break. Let Josh Coburn walk through the middle of him and Greaves to score. Had a tough battle with the Lions’ no.9. 6
Jacob Greaves
Handled Millwall’s physicality well. Got drawn into an awkward position for Millwall’s goal and needed better awareness of Coburn’s position. Some nice bits of play on the ball. 7

Ben Johnson
Deserves real credit for handling Femi Azeez with relative ease throughout the match, with the Millwall wide man only really threatening with one big moment at the end. Got forward well and got some accurate crosses into the box from open play and set pieces. 8
Azor Matusiwa
Ran the show in midfield in the first half, first to everything. Got an assist, albeit a fairly simple one, for Clarke’s strike. Became a bit sloppier and more tired after the restart. 7
Dan Neil
Clear improvement on some recent performances, where his levels dropped. Slick movement, accurate passes and a real threat around the box. Naturally tired a bit before being taken off. 7
Kasey McAteer
Another game that didn’t really work for him. Ran his socks off and worked hard, but lacked the final touch or pass. Did, however, win plenty of corners that Town should have done better with. 6
Anis Mehmeti
Good stuff until he had to pull the trigger. Some nice dribbles and flicks to beat players, but wasn’t a huge threat in or out of the box. 6
Jack Clarke
Took his goal really well, firing low and catching Millwall’s goalkeeper unsighted. Could have had more. Sometimes felt that he held onto the ball a bit too long, but he was the spark. Tried to make things happen inside the box but was unfortunate at times. 8 (Man of the Match)
Ivan Azon deserved to score against the Lions (Image: Ross Halls)
Ivan Azon
Brilliant in the first half. Chased hard and battled Millwall’s towering defenders really well. Forced a great save from Anthony Patterson and had some other moments. Didn’t look as sharp after the break. 7
Substitute: Jack Taylor (68′)
Carried off where Neil left off but maybe lacked the ability to open up Millwall’s defence like the Sunderland loanee. 6
Substitute: Jaden Philogene (68′)
Seemed to terrify the life out of Millwall’s defenders but nothing really opened up for him. They doubled up on him, or even tripled up on him, for much of his time on the pitch. 6
Substitute: Chuba Akpom (72′)
Fired a deflected shot wide. Nothing really worked for him. 6
Substitute: George Hirst (72′)
Worked hard to chase in behind Millwall’s defence and held the ball up well, but didn’t have an opportunity to really threaten. 6
Substitute: Sindre Walle Egeli (87′)
