There’s no stopping Igor Thiago according to Sam Farley
With the Carabao Cup final this weekend, Saturday’s truncated Premier League offering runs all the way to nearly 10pm – hopefully they can get the games finished in time for Match Of The Day!
It’s only right that former Red Joe Cole has Liverpool v Brighton covered at 12:30, but Sam Farley came through with best bets for the other three games, starting with Fulham v Burnley at 3pm…
3pm – Fulham v Burnley
Halftime/Fulltime: Fulham/Fulham
5:30pm – Everton v Chelsea
Enzo Fernandez 1+ shots on target
8pm – Leeds v Brentford
Igor Thiago to score first

HALFTIME/FULLTIMe: FUlham/Fulham
Burnley might still be hanging on to 19th spot but with Wolves on-form it feels inevitable that they’ll end the season rock bottom. One of the biggest issues has been just how poor their defence has been on the road, with them allowing an average of over two goals per game when they’re away from home.
Fulham have started games well, and are sixth in the first half home tables, conceding just six first half goals at Craven Cottage. While Burnley have only been winning at the interval in one of 15 away games and conceded 17 first half goals.
Enzo Fernandez 1+ Shots on Target
Chelsea need a reaction after three straight defeats which has seen them dropped out of the Champions League and on the outside looking in, of the race to get a spot in the competition next season. One of the few Chelsea success stories this season has been Enzo Fernandez who is having his best campaign since he arrived in the capital.
He’s added goals to his game and with 11 goals in all competitions, and eight in the Premier League he’s already racked up his highest total of the season. He’s averaged 2.06 shots per 90 minutes played, and with 24 shots on target in 29 games, he’s second for shots on target in the team. He’s also registered a shot on target in four straight away games in the league.
Igor Thiago to score first
It’s been an incredible season for Igor Thiago and the Premier League’s second highest scorer has just received his first international call-up for Brazil. He’s scored 19 goals across his 29 appearances and averaged a goal every 135 minutes this season. He’s the man for Brentford and when he scores, they often win, and he’s scored nearly half of their 46 league goals.
Leeds have only scored the first goal in one of their previous four league games at Elland Road, while Brentford have only seen the opposition score first in 11 of their 30 games, and they themselves have also scored first in the majority of their away games too. Leeds only have two league wins in 2026 so far and with Brentford and Thiago playing well, we can be confident in the Brazilian opening the scoring.
