Butcombe Group is doubling the size of The Brown Cow in Fulham, transforming the much‑loved local into a bigger, brighter, more social destination for eating, drinking, playing and gathering. The expansion follows a standout year for the Group’s London pubs and responds directly to the surge in demand for richer, more interactive pub experiences.

The redevelopment follows the acquisition of the adjoining property and will see the pub’s capacity double in size, offering more room for locals and visitors to enjoy everything from relaxed drinks to long lunches and celebratory dinners. The expansion will also increase the size of the team, bringing new hospitality roles to the area.

Jayson Perfect, Chief Operations Officer at Butcombe Group, said: “Guests are looking for places where they can socialise, celebrate, watch sport or enjoy activities together and this redevelopment allows us to build those experiences into the very fabric of The Brown Cow.”

Responding to a surge in demand for richer, more interactive pub experiences, the new‑look Brown Cow will introduce a range of social spaces including electric shuffle boards, multiple screens for live sport and bookable areas ideal for parties, gatherings, meetings and community events.

Jayson Perfect continues: “London continues to be an incredibly exciting market for us, and The Brown Cow shows exactly what’s possible when great teams, great locations and great guest experiences come together. We’re proud of the strength of our London pubs over the past year, and this investment means we can welcome even more guests while creating meaningful new jobs in Fulham. As we grow in the capital, we remain committed to investing in the pubs, people and communities that make our estate so special.”

The Brown Cow will retain its signature premium feel, with an enhanced bar, extended dining areas and a refreshed interior that reflects Butcombe Group’s focus on character, comfort, warm hospitality and really excellent food and drink. Work has already begun, with the newly expanded pub set to reopen in early May.
