There is no way United should spend £70 million on 28 year old midfielder who will be 29 soon after next season starts. Invest that type of money on younger midfielders with higher ceilings. Bruno Guimaraes is good but £70 million is too much for his age.

I'm sorry but going out to spend a fortune on Bruno Guimaraes won't make a single bit of sense at all and I base my argument on so many factors.
First and foremost, his age. The guy is around 30 years old and nearly the same age as Bruno Fernandes. I'd therefore rather spend that money on
keeping Bruno Fernandes than spend it on acquiring Guimaraes.
Secondly, what position is he going to occupy? Will the plan be to acquire him to replace Bruno Fernandes? Sorry, but Guimaraes is far inferior to
Bruno Fernandez, and so what sense does it make to go spend all that money on him to replace someone who's better than him and is practically of
the same age? If Bruno G was even in his early to mid 20s, no problem. I could see some sense in it, but not this !!
I seriously prefer Tonali, Imagine Baleba as DM, Tonali as CM and Bruno Fernandes as AM❤
