"Enrique won trebles in two clubs". Yeah, when you have prime Messi, prime Suarez and prime Neymar as your front line backed up by Inesta, Rakitic, Busquets, Jordi Alba, Pique, Mascherano and Dani Alves it's not much of a shock.
Then at PSG he had the benefit of an oil'state spending multiple billions replacing their squad repeatedly until they finally won the champions league. Winning domestic trophies in the 3rd and 5th best leagues with those squads is almost a given.
Let's talk about him crumbling at Roma or failing miserably with Spain. Truth is, it's only because PSG won the champions League last year that people want him. If they lost that, he wouldn't be wanted. But take a look at PSG this year and they are struggling to stay ahead of Lens in Ligue 1.

Timing is everything.. Carrick will be Manchester United's next manager.
My only concern is he has no experience of the prem. I`ve seen so many fail like Amorim did because of this factor. Also he wont have it so easy as at psg week to week game wise,, there is not the money or dominance right now at united right now. how good is his English?. Obviously it could work out like butter on a tea cake but we have had big managers before that did not work. My view is if it`s working under carrick then give him a chance.
To be honest, I don’t get the clamour for luis enrique, he’s pretty much pep guardiola with hair. He won the treble at barcelona with MSN, alves, alba, pique, mascherano, busquets, iniesta, rakitic and xavi, an all-conquering expensively assembled squad. Similar to what’s happened at PSG. He did nothing at roma or celta vigo and won nothing with a hugely talented spanish squad. He would do well at man city but not here, he can’t make the most of an existing squad with only a few reinforcements.
Dream on. He will extend to 2030 at PSG. He gets along extraordinary well with Luis Campos, and the club owners let him run the show. Mark my word.
