The club has revealed that more than 5,000 tickets have been sold for Ipswich Town Women’s match against Southampton in the Women’s Super League 2.

Town have had a brilliant 2026 so far, with David Wright’s side still unbeaten in the league this year, which has seen his side move off the bottom of the table.

Town Women have held one game at Portman Road each season for the past three years, with the first against Chatham Town and last year against Plymouth Argyle.

Both attracted crowds of more than 10,000 people to Portman Road, with hopes of the club beating that number again this year as Wright’s side looks to escape the drop from the second tier.

The lower tiers of each stand will be open for the game, as well as the middle tier of the West Stand.

The Women’s UEFA Euro trophy, won by the England Lionesses, will also be on display prior to the match.
