A huge crowd gathered two years ago when cycling sensation Dom Whiting arrived in the city.
Now, the DJ has teased his return to Southampton as his first UK venue of the year.
In his post on Facebook, Dom is pictured in Guildhall Square holding a copy of the Daily Echo.
The post is captioned: “After 4 long months, THE WAIT is nearly over.
“The first UK RIDE of the year will be taking place right here…
“ANY GUESSES WHERE?!”

Known as the DJ who pedals as he plays, Dom cycles around the country on a custom-built bike.
In 2024, he came to Southampton, and an estimated 2,000 drum and bass fans turned out to watch him cycle down Above Bar Street.
Dom hatched the idea during lockdown after growing weary of waiting for indoor parties to resume.
He has not revealed when the event will take place.
