The 30-year-old had been without a club after leaving Scottish Championship outfit Ross County by mutual consent at the end of January.

Fraser made 16 appearances for the Staggies, scoring once after joining from Dundee in September 2025.

He now links up with Andy Kirk’s side, who play in the fifth tier in Scotland. They are currently second in the table.

The Scot is already a familiar face at Glebe Park, having helped out with coaching Brechin’s Under-20 development side this season. He will now take on a player/coach role.

Fraser was one of the 19 signings during the Paul Cook ‘Demolition Man’ summer of 2021, joining from MK Dons, with the reputation of being one of the best attacking midfielders in League One at the time.

In total, Fraser featured 20 times for the Blues, scoring once.

He left Portman Road to join fellow third tier outfit Charlton Athletic in January 2022 after Kieran McKenna opted to cash in on a player who was ‘desperate to go’.
