McConville was included in the Northern Ireland squad on Monday for an upcoming World Cup play-off tie and returns for the Canaries after a knee injury on FA Cup duty at Leeds.
Ben Chrisene is ruled out with the hamstring injury that saw him depart in the second half of the weekend’s 2-0 Preston home win. Head coach Philippe Clement is expected to provide a further update in his post-match media.
Back-up keeper Daniel Grimshaw (groin) remains sidelined after he also missed the last two games, following a collision with McConville in the FA Cup exit at Leeds.
Danish midfielder Oscar Schwartau, and striker, Mohamed Toure, are on course to be back in the mix the other side of the upcoming international window, after hamstring and groin injuries respectively.
Wide player Matej Jurasek is still four to six weeks away from recovering from a foot injury.
Striker Jovon Makama (foot) and winger Papa Amadou Diallo (quad) are set to miss most of the run in.
Amass (hamstring) returned to his parent club to continue his rehab but Clement has made it clear City have not terminated the loan in the hope he can still feature at the back-end of the season.
Gabe Forsyth is still following a rehab plan as he bids to make a competitive return since injuring his knee in November 2024.
Mirko Topic and Ante Crnac are out for the season with ACL knee injuries. Lucien Mahovo (muscular), Schlupp and Shane Duffy (both hamstring) remain longer term absentees.
