Papy Mendy is likely to feature at Vicarage Road this Saturday afternoon after a resurgence with the Hornets

Papy Mendy could come back to haunt Leicester City this weekend, despite asking to leave Watford in January.
City head to Vicarage Road on Saturday needing three points to get themselves out of the relegation zone, following a disappointing defeat to QPR last weekend.
But the Hornets have plenty of motivation themselves. After beating Wrexham 3-1 on Tuesday night, they ensured they remain in the play-off race, with just five points separating them from the top six.
And fighting to stop City from taking three points will be their former midfielder Mendy.

He arrived at Vicarage Road on a free transfer last summer but played very little under former manager Javi Gracia, and so was an unused substitute when Watford won at the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day.
He played so infrequently that he asked to leave in the winter window. Assistant sporting director Valon Behrami said: “Papy has been very professional and has a great attitude. He gives us high intensity in training sessions, but of course he wants to play as well.
“If he doesn’t have the chance to play so many minutes here, he’s going to look for something. He’s one of the players who would like to go and play.”
But Gracia resigned just before deadline day and Mendy remained at Watford. He was immediately brought back into the fold and started eight games in a row, under caretaker boss Charlie Daniels and then new manager Ed Still, before being used as a substitute in Tuesday night’s win over Wrexham.
But it seems he will be set to feature, either as a starter or substitute this weekend, and so will be trying to push City closer to the drop.
Mendy left City on a free transfer in 2023 following their relegation out of the Premier League, having made 118 appearances over seven years.
He then had two years with Lens, when he played under his current manager’s brother, Will Still.
