Shortly after 5pm on Tuesday, March 17, emergency services were called to Matchams Lane after a crash had taken place involving three cars.

Dorset Police confirmed that one driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 5.10pm on Tuesday 17 March of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on Matchams Lane in Christchurch.

“Officers attended alongside other emergency services and one driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to Matchams Lane, Christchurch at 5.19pm last night (17 March) following a three vehicle road traffic collision.

“Two crews attended from Christchurch attended, and one casualty was removed from their car into the care of the ambulance service. Our stop was at 6.50pm.”
