Celtic are favourites ahead of Leeds United to sign Bodo/Glimt sensation Kasper Hogh this summer, according to Football Insider.
Following their 2-2 Old Firm derby draw against Rangers at Ibrox on March 1, the Scottish Premiership title looked almost out of reach for Celtic.
However, they have since beaten Aberdeen and Motherwell to leapfrog Rangers into second position and, couple with Hearts’ shock defeat to Kilmarnock at the weekend, it means they are just two points behind Derek McInnes’ leaders at the summit.
Martin O’Neill will be hoping to deliver another league title before he signs off at the end of the season, with the Hoops hierarchy already considering who will be replacing the veteran Northern Irishman at Parkhead next summer.
The new manager will need to be given a stronger squad next season, with the striker position a particular issue for Celtic throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
Celtic Have ‘Better Chance’ to Land Hogh Over Leeds

According to Football Insider, Celtic are more likely than Leeds to land Champions League sensation Kasper Hogh this summer.
Both the Bhoys and the Yorkshire outfit are among a number of teams tracking the Danish centre-forward following his stunning form in Europe for Bodo/Glimt, where he has five goals and three assists in the group and knockout stages, ahead of the second leg playoff tie against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday night.
The report says that after his Champions League exploits this season, if he were to leave Bodo this summer then he would want to play in Europe’s elite club competition again next term.
While Celtic’s hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League are very much alive, the same cannot be said for bottom-half Premier League side, Leeds United.
Hogh was described as a ‘leading star’ by Bodo managing director Frode Thomassen in an exclusive interview with GIVEMESPORT earlier this year.
Celtic are set for a ‘significant’ rebuild this summer, meaning ambitious deals for players like Hogh cannot be ruled out.
Celtic Face Competition for ‘Leading Star’ Hogh

Hogh was attracting interest from Championship side Norwich City during the January transfer window, before he shot to prominence with some crucial goals for Bodo in the Champions League.
The 25-year-old scored twice in a famous 3-1 win against Manchester City, before netting the winner in a 2-1 victory away at Atletico Madrid that took them through to the knockout stages of the competition.
Two goals and two assists have followed against Inter Milan and Sporting Lisbon, as he shows he can compete against Europe’s elite.
His form has alerted Europe’s elite and he is reported to be valued at around £15m, but it remains to be seen if any will firm up their interest with Celtic fully in contention.
Would Hogh be a Celtic Success?

GIVEMESPORT asked ChatGPT if Hogh would be a good signing at Parkhead, and this is what it said:
Kasper Høgh could be a success at Celtic—but it depends on role and expectations.
Why he could succeed:
Celtic dominate possession, creating lots of chances—ideal for a box striker
Strong aerial ability and finishing suit games vs deep defenses
Could rack up goals domestically with consistent service
Potential limitations:
Less involved in link-up play, which Celtic often value in forwards
May struggle to impact tougher UEFA Champions League matches
Not a creator or dynamic presser compared to recent Celtic strikers
Verdict:
He’d likely be a good domestic scorer and useful squad option, but not necessarily a standout, all-around leading striker.
