Brentford will be looking to bank another three points in their surprise push for a European place when they host basement boys Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League tonight.

The Bees bowed out of the FA Cup last week after Dango Ouattara’s ill-fated decision to attempt a Panenka penalty in their shootout with West Ham United.

They can now focus fully on the Premier League but three points won’t come easy against a Wolves side who have rediscovered their mojo in recent weeks.

Brentford vs Wolverhampton Wanderers top betting tips

Wolves remain 13 points adrift of safety and are pretty much doomed but they’ve only lost two of their last seven games.

Rob Edwards has instilled a bit of fighting spirit and his side have managed to score in five of their last six outings against strong opposition.

Bet365 still make the Molineux men 19/4 outsiders tonight, though, with the Bees just 11/20 for a home win.

Brentford conceded three times to second-bottom Burnley and also shipped two goals against fellow strugglers West Ham in the FA Cup. That suggests we could see goals at both ends tonight and combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays 6/5 with Bet365.

Kevin Schade is usually pretty lively for the Bees and the German looks good at evens with the same firm for a goal or assist.

Portsmouth vs Derby County

There’s a big game in the EFL Championship tonight, with Portsmouth and Derby County both needing a win when they collide at Fratton Park.

Pompey are sitting just above the drop zone and will be hoping a big home crowd can roar them to a much-needed victory.

But the Rams will also be desperate for three points as they look to stay in the frame for the play-offs at the other end of the table.

Neither side is in great form, with Portsmouth taking just a point from their last four games while Derby have lost three of their last five.

That suggests this could be a tight game, with under 2.5 goals paying only 4/6 with Bet365. There’s more value in the half-time draw at 21/20.

It finished 1-1 when these sides faced off at Pride Park back in December and we saw 10 corners that day. Pompey have hit double figures just by themselves in two of their last three at home so I like over 10 match corners tonight at evens with Bet365.

Rayo Vallecano vs Levante

Levante find themselves sitting second bottom in La Liga so they will be desperate to boost their survival chances with a win away to Rayo Vallecano tonight.

A terrible run that saw Levante bank just a point from five games has come to an end thanks to a draw and win in their last two matches.

Both those games were at home though and the last three road trips have all ended in defeat. So it’s easy to see why Bet365 have them as 4/1 outsiders tonight.

This could be a good time to face Rayo Vallecano though as they are in the middle of a Conference League tie with Turkish side Samsunspor.

Rayo won 3-1 in Turkey on Thursday night but the trip may take a toll on them so Levante could be worth a punt in the double chance at 11/10.

German full-back Jeremy Toljan has picked up six yellows for Levante this season and that makes him a decent candidate for a card at generous odds of 5/1.
