  1. How is it a nightmare for Mr. Freedom for playing EAFC all night while collecting that fat pay check?

It’s another reminder to not hype over people during an international tournament. I remember 2014 seeing Van Gaal take the Netherlands to a semi final, demolishing Spain with Van Persie and thinking it was going to go gangbusters, never happened.

Similarly I remember England fans begging for Southgate to play Sancho in Euro 2021.

Part of me wonders whether the penalty miss in the final did some serious damage to him mentally (I’d be shocked if it didn’t) and that combined with the move to a new club on big money in a tough league completely affected his mindset.

It’s taking everything I’ve got to care even a single grain about this clown

The transfer never made sense to be fair. Yea I get it that he was deemed the next Neymar and superstar but we had a surplus of left wingers and he didn’t fit our profile for what ten hag wanted on the right.

Even with that, his issues with training and tardiness at dortmund were always apparent. Most managers would either fine him if it got to be excessive or give him a suspension for a game or two.

I get ten hag needed to instill discipline on the squad. But you can’t publicly place a player making that much money on a squad black list as your competitors and future buyers are listening.

As poor as sancho was in games he was never as bad as the golden child which was Antony. Who time and time again never stepped up despite being given everything to succeed. And when told to play on the left as a full back he refused.

We ended up having to sell elanga who was more promising than Antony despite elanga being more if a force on the counter and being the better right wing profile.

At the end of the day it was this mismanagement that angered the board who gave ETH near full power during his entire first two years here.
