Keith Andrews spoke about the preparations for facing Wolves on Monday evening.

Brentford sit in seventh spot in the Premier League table, dispelling fears of relegation in a post-Thomas Frank world that is also without Ivan Toney, Bryan Mbeumo or Yoane Wissa. They have to dust themselves down after a FA Cup fifth round penalty shootout defeat against West Ham last Monday, and there can be no complacency about facing the team who are the bottom of the division.

Reiss Nelson is going to be part of the [training] group tomorrow. It’ll be similar to last week: we’ll see how it goes and then make a decision on his involvement. The others are the same as we discussed last week; they won’t be in contention for a few weeks, until the other side of the international break.”

“The squad are dusting themselves down after the disappointment of going out of the FA Cup. They gave everything. It was a huge physical exertion from the players, especially those who played 120 or more minutes, and then the emotions of going out in the manner that we did.”

“[Rico Henry] will be out for numerous weeks, for sure. It’s a decent hamstring injury, so we have to make sure we get that right for him, more so than us. We want him to get back to a good place. How long will that be? I’m not entirely sure.”

“They’ve clearly had a frustrating season, and they would’ve had higher aspirations than what they’ve produced. Rob Edwards has built teams in his relatively young managerial career that have been really good and had promotions, with spirit and fight.

“What you’ve seen in recent weeks is what he’s done before, with other teams. They’ve got some talented players, for sure. I’m not particularly surprised that they have been playing really well for a number of weeks now.”
