None of us understand or can explain what happened tonight though. This season has been absolute garbage and everything has looked disjointed and pretty hopeless, but not tonight. Tonight a lot of things went really well. And it wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for Fede playing at the mythical level that he did. It looked like he could have done anything on the pitch today.

Amazing effort from everyone tonight. Fede was making amazing runs and finished phenomenally. Courtois had an amazing assist and kept a clean sheet. We were double teaming an even triple teaming on defense at times. This is the effort we all wanted to see!

It’s nice to realize that a legend like Thierry Henry also noticed Thiagos outstanding performance (apart from that one terrible mistake )
Amid the heroics of Fede and Thibaut, he somehow went a bit unnoticed, but this guy is very good. He strongly reminds me of Vitinho, and he tries to do many things from Modrić’s arsenal. A very intelligent and hardworking player.
Who knows maybe we are witnessing the rise of a new star, just like it was with Vini under Solari.
